BLAC invites you to let your creativity flow in a virtual erotic writing workshop led by writer and author Sondria!

Sondria is an Inland Empire-based, freelance writer (Cutured Magazine, LALA magazine), author (Unthinkable Acts, The Carverians on Amazon now), and media content provider (Earth Wind and Fire Social Media Manager 2010-2015, Pan African Film Festival 2015-2018).

She has released three short story collections, and is set to release her fourth: The Carverians 2, in May 2021.

Sondria also hosts writing and reading workshops, gives private writing lessons, and is one of the organizers of the upcoming 2021 LA ZINE FEST!

In this workshop we…

•Discovered the words that make you wanna...we created our individual erotic vocabulary lists and had the opportunity to share.

•Discussed ideas of sensuality and sexiness and answered these questions: Where did these ideas come from? Do they resonate with you?

•Discussed the importance of recording our OWN history with bold and blatant accuracy.

•Explored the differences between POLITICAL LANGUAGE and COMMUNICATIVE LANGUAGE—their purpose and application.

•Sondra briefly discussed her relationship to erotica and why she loves mixing it with sci-fi.

•Created and shared an erotic work for workshop feedback.

•Freestyled to encourage an explosive, focused, and confident relationship with your vocabulary.
